Reprinted here is Technical Manual No.1-435 published by the War Department, Washington on the 10th February 1941. This book is strong on the tools used, but the major difference with How to Do Aircraft Sheet Metal Work is that this is concerned very largely with how to repair sheet metal parts by all means from welding to riveting and screwing, and what are called ‘miscellaneous fasteners’. Chapters include Bumping and forming methods, Repairs, Radiator repair, Fuel and oil tank repair, Airplane plumbing, and much more. If you are rebuilding an old aircraft, or any old vehicle come to that, this is immediately useful - for anyone else, there is a huge amount of interesting, and potentially useable information here. 147 pages, heavily illustrated, largely with drawings. Paperback. Lindsay Publications
