American Machinist Engine News 1890-91
£11.50

Lindsay has been squirreling away in his old copies of American Machinist, and come up with this interesting selection of articles, mainly on steam engines, but with a few on gas engines. The majority of the steam engine articles are on marine engines, including those of the U.S. Cruiser “Maine”, and the six thousand horse-power engines of the Italian steamship “Sirio’.There is also an interesting analysis of the performance of the engines fitted to the S.S. “City of Paris”, amongst much else - 63 items in all, at a very reasonable price! 143 pages, full of technical drawings and engravings. Large format paperback. Lindsay Publications
