Marvin Guthrie bought the Gingery set and, having built the Gas Fired Tilting Furnace, built most of the Gingery machines. He then decided to make a second lathe, adding a full set of change gears, after which he decided back gears would be a good thing; this book is the result. We know a fair few customers have built Gingery lathes, and this is obviously of direct interest to them, but it also looks as if this could be a starting point for anyone wanting to fit back gears to any lathe. 56 pages, well illustrated with drawings and B&W photos. Paperback. David J. Gingery Publishing
