Indian Broad Gauge Steam Remembered £29.95 The author visited India no fewer than 25 times between 1970 and 1994, photographing steam power in every state. Featured here are the broad gauge locomotives he came across, including a few diesels and electrics, with a number of archive photographs. By definition the classes featured here are the ones seen by the author, but this still gives a wide spectrum of classes, the bulk built or designed in the U.K., and essentially standard British types. Both the photography and the descriptions here are excellent which, coupled with the variety in classes, and their decoration, makes this a book to treasure. 166 pages. Around 200 mixed colour and B&W photos. Hardbound. Taverner Publications Click to enlarge Click to enlarge Click to enlarge Click to enlarge Click to enlarge Current ReviewsWrite your own review here
