The late Robert Grieves wrote a host of books on transport around Scotland, and this fine book is his epitaph. I cannot make up my mind if it is a steamer book with buses, or a bus book with steamers - as it also includes railways - standard gauge, 3’ gauge and 15” gauge, perhaps it is best to just follow its title and accept it is about transport within the greater Clyde coastline. ‘Tis certainly a lovely book, and its large landscape format allows for good size reproduction of a varied assortment of photos, frequently full page, and ephemera, from the Edwardian era up to the 70s & 80s, with a few later. 144 pages. Around 120 B&W and 60 colour illustrations. Hardbound. Stenlake Publishing
