This is a beautifully done reproduction of the book that the Swedish company Nydqvist & Holm (or Nohab) released in1936 to celebrate their 2000th locomotive being built - a Ljungström turbine locomotive. There are 8 pages outlining the firm’s development, then 46 pages of photographs of the works and especially their products. The bulk of these are railway orientated, and you see locomotives built for Russia, Turkey, Iran and Argentina, as well as Sweden, plus varied rolling stock. Other sections cover water turbines, diesel and aircraft engines, and artillery tractors. Swedish and English text throughout. 56 A4 format and hardbound pages.
