Educational film made for the LMS, and showing various of its freight services in 1935. You see operations at Camden Goods Depot, then fish being moved by train from Fleetwood, including a rare glimpse of L&Y engines in action. Then there is the coal traffic, including the then pretty new Toton hump marshalling yard.  Finally there is a look at containerisation of the period, including a time warp household removal sequence. Interesting for all sorts of reasons, including the fact it shows just how big an employer the railways once were.
