This rather nice book looks at the narrow gauge lines which ran and, in a few cases still run, from towns on Spain’s Mediterranean coast between Gerona and Málaga, back into the hinterland. Some of these, notably the San Feliu to Gerona, and Castellón to Onda lines were unbearable picturesque; other, such as the metre gauge Sierra Menera Railway were serious freight haulers, using big Mallets and Garratts.
