Exhibitions

Camden does have sales stands at a number of events during the year although, as we are geared-up to provide an efficient mail-order service, which Shows generally do not help, the number of events we attend is small, and tends to vary from year to year.

During 2008, for the first time in many years, we will NOT have a stand at the National Model Engineering Exhibition at Harrogate in May. This is absolutely not a reflection on this brilliant Exhibition, but simply the fact that I cannot be at a non-business Event at the beginning of the week, and in Harrogate half-way through it. But if we haven't offended Lou Rex and his merry band too much, I hope we will be back in Harrogate again, with a stand, in the future. However, we will be having Stands at the following shows during 2008:

29th March	16mm Narrow Gauge Association AGM, Stoneleigh, Warwick
12 & 13th April	South West Model Engineering, Model Making & Hobbies Exhibition, Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
12 & 13 July	Guildford MES Model Traction Engine Rally & Exhibition Stoke Park, Guildford, Surrey
15,16 & 17 August	Bristol SMEE Exhibition, Thornbury, South Glos (close to M4/M5)
15th November	G1MRA AGM, Leisure Centre, Woking

These shows represent an excellent opportunity for you to collect orders, and save postage, or just to inspect books you are interested in. BUT our range is so large that we cannot bring it all with us, and we tailor what we do bring to the exhibition concerned. As a result don't expect to find aviation books (for example) on our stand at a narrow gauge railway show!

So - if there is anything in particular you wish to see or, even better, buy, then a phone call in advance, asking us to bring whatever it is, would be appreciated, and save disappointment all round.
