Dating from 1967, Playtime is the last Tati film featuring Mr. Hulot, and really his last major film. In it Hulot is found in a surreal, difficult to recognise Paris involved, some of the time, with a party of American ladies. In part it is a film against dehumanisation, but the incredible set, which nearly broke Tati  is, in some, respects, the star.
