The ‘biography’ of Hunslet 2’ gauge 4-6-0 tank No. 1215, built for the War Department in 1916. After active service at the Front, following demobilisation No. 1215 found her way to Australia, and Queensland’s sugar cane lines where she worked until the 1960s, before heading for a children’s playground. She has now returned to the UK, and will hopefully be seen in steam in due course. This is a good of both No. 1215, and also the development of the British WD locomotives. 56 pages.
