Grouped here are a large format book of 46 colour and 33 B&W photographs, taken by Milton Greene, of Marilyn Munroe during the last nine years of her life, plus 2 CDs containing 20 tracks, mainly from her films, of her singing. Marilyn was friendly with Greene and trusted him, which is obvious from the wonderful photographs here, which can only reinforce her status as perhaps the most beautiful woman of the twentieth century. In all the photographs Marilyn is reacting to the camera, but many are of her going about her job of acting, with friends and on set; they are not specific glamour shots. Monroe’s voice was highly individual, and sensual, so the CDs are enjoyable whether or not you open the book at the same time. A HIGH VALUE, and highly enjoyable, package! German and English text. Book. 104 pages. Hardback. earBOOKS.
