Just over half of this book is the ‘Resources’ section, with huge amounts of useful information of the sort that means this book should be on every blacksmith’s shelf; this section is illustrated by very clear sketches. The rest looks at the work of a number of artistic blacksmiths, including Martin Rose who produced wonderful art-deco work pre-war. This is interesting, although quality of photographic reproduction is a tad variable. 253 larger format pages. Paperback. SkipJack Press
