In October 2011 the only Darjeeling tank working outside India visited North Wales with its two replica coaches, to make a run from Caernarfon over the Welsh Highland Railway to Porthmadog, then on over the Ffestiniog Railway to Blaenau Ffestiniog, returning the next day, non-stop through Porthmadog. Given the (Welsh) monsoon conditions one has to admire the tenacity of Adrian Shooter and his team, but the result is a very interesting, enjoyable and atmospheric film.
