First volume of what looks like being an exhaustive history of the British steam tram, this is also an enjoyable read and contains numerous wonderful modelling possibilities. This volume concentrates on the technical side of the subject - the permanent way, motive power, rolling stock, etc., etc., and is jam pack with information, including many good archive photos, and loads of drawings. Highly recommended, and not just for modellers! 180 page, profusely illustrated, hardback. Adam Gordon. Very limited print run, so don’t delay if this appeals.
