Daanske Jernbaner gennen tiderne

Written by Mogens Nørgaard Olsen and published by Lamberths Forlag - Copenhagen in 1990

193 large format hardback pages detailing the history of both Danish State Railways, and the many private railways of Denmark up to the year of publication.

Danish text, but numerous photos, mainly B&W but 24 in colour. Hardbound.

Denmark's railways are interesting for a number of reason, notably that the nature of the country meant that the they operated numerous ferry services, including train ones, which are covered here. And because Denmark lacked coal, they were early in experimenting with i/c power, although steam stayed on remarkably late.

CONDITION - close to fine. To the best of my knowledge this book was never available in the UK
