Glorious book of often brilliant photographs, with extended captions, of the vessels indicated in the title. The majority of the photographs are in colour and cover the 1960s & 1970s - a few later, and a fair few B&W photos going back to the 1930s in some cases.

In essence the chapters work anti-clockwise from the Northern Isles, round to the Humber Estuary services, and the coverage isn't always even, but what there is is very largely exceptional and of considerable interest.
