Le Souffle du Mistral LAST FEW COPIES
Started in May 1950, for its first two years the Mistral only ran between Paris and Marseilles, with a connection to Nice by Bugatti railcar.
Steam hauled for at least part of its jouney until 1965, the Mistral was finally killed-off by the opening of the TGV line between Paris and Marseilles in May 1982; with it went what was in reality the last classic day train de-luxe.
This attractive book celebrates the life of this great train in words and pictures.
128 pages. Around 200 B&W and colour photographs. Hardbound.
