Six North British Loco Weight Diagrams of Locomotives for Scottish Railways
Thought to be original, these 1/4 inch to the foot drawings were produced by the North British Locomotive Co.Ltd. to show the principal dimensions, and notably the axle loading of the 6 locomotives concerned. Each image is around 500 mms x 22 mms around the border. The actual sheet is larger and some contain additional information.
The drawings are of the following locomotives:
Glasgow and South Western Railway 'Baltic' tank (1920)
Glasgow and South Western Railway 0-6-2 (1918)
North British Railway Atlantic lcomotive and tender
Highland Railway 'Loch' class 4-4-0 locomotive and tender (1915)
Great North of Scotland Railway Pickersgill 4-4-0 locomotive and tender
Highland Railway 0-6-4 tank locomotive built for banking up to Drumochter (1908)
All on what seems to be a linen backed or based paper which has never been folded. Supplied rolled in a tube.
CONDITION: Good - possibly slight greying of the paper, but this may be original as all the sheets are the same.
Great for mounting!'
