Published by John H. Boughton 1992
"Being an account of the involvement of the Boughton family and their contemporaries in Road Transport and equipment related to it from the late 1800s to date".
The continuing story of T.T. Boughton & Sons Ltd., of Amersham Common covered in Steam in the Veins, this covers the end of the steam era, the move to diesel, and innovations with transport systems, which hs kept the firm thriving. About a third of the book's 111 pages cover the steam era, but there is a considerable amount of interest in the rest of this book.
