Step by Step Metalwork 1 DIGITAL EDITION

£6.95

The printed edition of this book is no longer available but  thanks to the kindness of the author's family is reintroduced  as a digital book for viewing on a computer, iPad, iPhone or android mobile. Not downloadable on to a 'Kindle' or similar reader, or onto a 'Tablet".

The first of a brilliant trilogy of books, all published in 1972 by teacher Kenneth Wells, based on his lesson notes for classes he ran to teach older pupils the basics of metalwork and using machine tools. He aim was that each pupil would have a complete example of their work to take home at the end of the school year.

The projects in this first book are, obviously the simplest, but they will teach the beginner a lot, including introducing them to foundrywork. The projects here are a Pin tray, Plant stand, Ash tray, Screwdriver, Name plate, Folding stool, Model jet boat, Shovel and a Spring door stop, so they are useful when complete!

62 landscape format pages, appearing singly so that the drawings and vast numbers of B&W photos appear as large as possible.

Great for adult beginners, or if you are experienced, and want to start the young generation on metawork; tuition really doesn't get better than this series!
