Railways, Ports and Resorts of Morecambe Bay including the Ulverston Canal

Very nice book on exactly what its title suggests, although nearly all of the places covered were at one time or another shipping points.

The railway was, of course, the Furness Railway, the major ports were Heysham, Morecambe and especially Barrow on Furness, the mqain resort being Grange over Sands. All located on the shores of the second largest bay in England, lying in the shadow of the Lake District.
